Among the main attractions of the Old Town of Hvar are Spanish Fortress built in the 13th century with an incredible view over the city and nearby islands, the Cathedral of St. Stephen, the Jewel of the town’s main square and the Benedictine Convent, famous for its tradition in agave lace making which was listed on UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. 

One of the oldest cities in Croatia, Stari grad is a famous UNESCO world heritage site. In this small town, you can experience the traditional Mediterranean lifestyle while you explore the lovely stone streets and squares and visit the remains of old city walls from the 4th century BC. 

Stari grad was home of Petar Hektorović, a famous Croatian poet, who built the beautiful Tvrdalj castle, one of the most famous sites of Stari grad. While in Stari grad you can also visit the Dominican monastery and Christian church of St. John.
